Ipoh - PLUS Highway

The widening (extension) from four-lane to eight-lane PLUS highway along the Ipoh township for the purpose of reducing traffic jam and giving additional choice to road users.

The jobs are almost completed. Final touch up on the highway is going on.

Facing South - to Kuala Lumpur.

Looking towards Kuala Lumpur, four-inner-lanes are for long distance traffic.

Previously they had to stop at Ipoh South to pay toll.

After commissioning these new additional lanes, they can travel straight from Juru to Kuala Lumpur or Johor Baru, without paying toll at Jelapang Toll Plaza or Ipoh South Toll Plaza.
